This collection is a transcription of the church record books of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Whiteville, Hardeman County, TN. The transcription includes Minute Book, the Treasurer's Report Book and abstracts of the annual report sent to the Little Hatchie and Hardeman Baptist Associations

This collection contains meeting minutes from the Big Hatchie Baptist Association which show the constitution and by-laws, church and associational directories, lists of messengers, associational meeting minutes, obituaries, up-coming events, individual church reports, and church statistics for each year. Also included is "The Sesquicentennial History of the Big Hatchie Baptist Association, 1828-1978" and a ledger page from 1945 with the church roster.

This collection contains histories of various baptist churches in the west Tennessee area. Some histories were compiled on signifcant anniversaries for the churches. Some histories were published as books or booklets, included in associational documents or compiled and printed for an anniversary celebration. The histories vary in the amount of detail that is included.

This collection contains one record book from Woodland Baptist Church in Brownsville, TN. The book begins with the church's founding 1835 as "the Baptist church of Christ called Brown's Creek" through 1881. The records include membership rolls, including the founding members. Articles of Faith, Rules of Decorum and minutes of business meetings.
